Lone worker

So many people now work on their own. As employers we have a duty of care to ensure our staff have the skills and knowledge to reduce the risks associated with lone working. This course is suitable for a large verity of workers ranging from NHS staff, probation staff, retail staff to lorry drivers. There was a shocking 70,555 NHS staff were assaulted in 0800 772 3099, according to NHS Protect figures. This is up 4% on the previous year and these statistics are from just one employer. Lone working safety devises are a great safety tool and are highly recommended however they do not stop staff being assaulted. Our half day Lone Worker training is designed to give your staff the knowledge and confidence to be situationally aware of their surroundings when working alone. Our lone worker training will reduce the potential for assault happening.
This course can be combined with Self Defence/Personal Safety course making it a full day course ensuring that your employees stay as safe as possible. This course will help you ensure you meet your legal responsibilities as an employer. The Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 states:

(2)Without prejudice to the generality of an employer’s duty under the preceding subsection, the matters to which that duty extends include in particular
